New Phone? Read This First!
Whether you’ve decided you simply must have the latest and greatest new phone or your current one took a dive onto the concrete and you need to replace it, don’t get rid of that old phone before you set up FSCJ’s OneLogin Protect tool on your new one.
FSCJ uses OneLogin, the two-factor authentication tool that makes single sign-in easier and more secure. Upon enrollment, you will select a security factor to use to confirm your authenticity. To ensure that you are maximizing your security, we recommend you take the time now to add a second security factor if you haven’t already done so.
Since OneLogin uses an app on your mobile device as the method of authenticating you into our single sign-on systems, losing access to the phone means losing access to that authentication method. In order to ensure a smooth OneLogin transition between new and old devices, you will need to enroll your new phone before getting rid of the one that is currently registered. It’s a simple process that will add your new device as a factor before you revoke access to the old phone.
