DMP: In - and Out - of the Studio

The Digital Media Productions team has been busy this month, working with students, staff, and faculty members to create new educational content.

We spent a beautiful day out at FSCJ’s Wildwood Outdoor Education Center, working on a video to let folks know about all of the amazing team building activities available to our Manta Rays. Our FSCJ baseball players and coaches came out to help train some of the new, volunteer facilitators who keep the OEC running. Keep an eye out for that one, coming soon - and head out there if you get the chance!

Inside the studio, we partnered with the Multimedia team from the Center for eLearning (CeL) to spend the day shooting scenarios for a new American Sign Language course. We’re always happy to work with our CeL partners on whatever projects they need our studio for.

We’re also finishing up shooting and editing the final episode of AI Goes to College, the audio and video podcast we co-produce with Professor Sarah Stuart, and putting the final touches on a virtual induction for members of the Kappa Beta Delta and Delta Mu Delta business honor societies.

Next up? Hosting high school students from around the state for the Job Skills USA Broadcast News Competition and getting ready to live stream and caption Commencement 2025! Stay tuned….
