About This Project
The Orion Data Migration project will focus on moving data still being accessed in Orion (and never converted to PeopleSoft) from Orion legacy and legacy-legacy system to PeopleSoft queries. The project will focus on moving the data as represented in Orion to PS and not converting data. This will allow the sunsetting of the Orion system all together.
Timeline
November 2024 – Requirements Gathering HR System.
December 2024 thru January 2025 – Data extracts and PS loads.
February 2025 – PS production Implementation - HR data.
January thru February 2025 – Requirements Gathering Student Records.
March thru July 2025 – Data Extracts and PS Loads.
July – August 2025 – PS Production Implementation – SR Data.
September-October 2025 – Requirements Gathering Advising.
October thru December 2025 – Data Extracts and PS loads.
January thru June 2025 – Requirements Gathering SF, Fin-Aid, Finance, Payroll, Purchasing, and remaining Orion pages still being accessed.
Support
FSCJ IT-Applications team will be available for access granting and PS query clarifications, normal PeopleSoft standard operation procedures for support will be followed.
