About This Project

Cohesity will provide a state-of-the-art backup and recovery solution with the added benefit of cloud-based immutable backup images and threat monitoring to aid prevention or mitigation of cyber-attacks. 

Timeline

  • Equipment received August 2023 

  • September 2023 - Initial Equipment setup and application configuration 

  • Rollout to all applicable College Server systems by the end of the year 2023 

  • Retirement of NetBackup system upon expiration of remaining backups 

Support

Initial technical support will be provided for the new backup system by Cohesity with eventual knowledge transfer to College IT personnel. Continuing support will be provided by College IT personnel with assistance from Cohesity per the ongoing maintenance agreement.
