About This Project

The goal is to create an FSCJ Canvas Certificate training program for faculty and staff. This certificate will prepare users to get the most out of Canvas so they can be confident in providing the best online learning experience for students. Badges will be awarded automatically when the courses are completed, which will help employees highlight their expertise and accomplishments. 

Timeline

Fall 2023:  

  • Define list of courses to be created 

  • Complete 2-3 required courses 

  • Update content on courses already created 

     

Spring 2024

  • Create remaining required courses 

  • Plan for elective courses 

Ongoing: 

  • Update content as needed 

  • Reevaluate courses to ensure relevancy 

  • Create new courses as new features/content is released
